Being a Woman
Being a Woman!
But we are much more than an “etymological concept” or a “definition”, aren’t we? We are an identity!
Outdated concepts of women are historical constructions and we have already moved beyond this sexist and antiquated view of history.
When identifying the meanings that make up the idea of woman today, we realize that this definition has become broad in its aspect. The woman, constituting herself in her multiple facets, has evolved and today we are much more than a concept.
We are a feminine identity.
This identity has evolved over time and, today, we no longer even need gender. There are those who are born women and those who choose to be women.
There are also those who, in addition to being born a woman, choose to BE a Woman!

It is through this strength that we need to identify, recognize and gradually strengthen ourselves.
Many women have fought for our space and recognition to get us to this point. Since 841 BC, the Bible has already told us about a woman who held the highest political and religious position in the kingdom of Judah, namely, Queen Athaliah (841-835).
Throughout human history, women have contributed their wisdom to economic, political and social development. In the East, the Code of Hammurabi contained a law according to which women and men are equal in dignity. Archaeology attests to the existence of coins with inscriptions of women's names.
This is a clear sign of their importance at a legal and economic level. Even in religion, the existence of prophetesses is a clear sign of the influence of women at a religious level. Throughout history, there have been women who have been integrated into other categories, namely, the category of sorceresses, witches and magicians.
No conceito etimológico da palavra, uma Mulher é uma pessoa do sexo feminino.
Women are and have always been present in all spheres of social, political, economic and religious life. Since the beginning of time, we have been the driving force that generates and maintains life, literally.
This is the movement of transformation and evolution, which represents the feminine identity itself in its multiplicity of roles, where we are mother-grandmother, daughter, wife, housewife, working woman, mother-wife, and all the other aspects that encompass our BEING as a woman.
Some women around the world are so proud of their condition that they follow a philosophy of life called “Sacred Feminine”. This lifestyle, which has been adopted by women for millennia, offers lessons about our bodies, our emotions and our feminine cycles, and also provides guidance on how we can harmonize them.
When women seek to discover more about themselves, by going inward, better understanding their instincts, their desires and their cycles, they report that the world around them – and the one that exists within them – seems to change. It is as if a new consciousness embraces them.
This awakening to a new self-awareness can be interpreted as the departure from patriarchal supremacy – repressive and full of rules – to enter a more maternal, affectionate and artistic world, less rational and more sensitive.
We will continue to transform ourselves until our identity becomes a “mobile celebration,” continually formed and transformed.
This is the breadth of the beauty of BEING a woman.
